Wavejumper, knowing I love LOTV, very kindly sent me this stamp. The night before our holidays I stamped and coloured it - something I could do without wreaking havoc in my tidy craft room.
Initially I was a bit stumped by the top of the tree which looks incomplete to me. I could only find one image in Google Images, which had it cropped down, and the printable has a more finished tree. But the morning we left, I took another look and I could see a tree that had maybe had a couple of branches blown off in a storm. That works for me - and I'm happy, because I wanted to keep the frame.
It's coloured with Polychromos pencils and plenty of Stickles for the snow.
I wanted to finish it up into a card, and Lyn's TLC from last Monday worked perfectly - and meant I didn't have to stamp a sentiment either. I was able, despite my voluntarily small collection of washi tape, to find a few that matched the image and went well together. After I embossing I put it on a matting layer of silver mirror card and then a white base.
Thanks, Wavejumper. And Lyn, for a fun challenge.

Oh how very cute, Sabrina. I love the washi tape bg...it is so perfect for that adorable image. I pinned this to my bg ideas board on pinterest...i did not do the challenge, but this is so pretty that I will have to try it at a later date.

There's what I have been waiting for!
This came out great-I knew it would! That BG worked out fine! I like the idea of the mirror card-a little bit of bling!
I know what you mean about the tree....I was thinking it was pruned for the winter except the trunk is short too....or to drop the top of the frame....we do have a couple bushes that we let get so big people might think they are small trees. If they took a heavy pruning, they could look like that. And since it is a child, the scale could be smaller than a real tree....and I have over thought this already! LOL
I never think about doing a total Washi bg and certainly not to emboss it-love it!

What a sweet image. Beautifully colored and so well coordinated with the washi tape. Really fabulous Christmas card, Sabrina! I love the fresh, light colors for Christmas.

Great card - the wee stockings on the tree are so cute. I adore your sweet little robin. Our family has an ongoing love of robins - always searching for robin images to send to each other. It goes back to my grandmother and great-grandmother so it has been going on for decades.
