I didn't have any post it note pads, but I wanted to make those cute note totes everyone is making. I found some 4x6 notepads instead, and modified the dimensions. Cardstock is 7.5 tall and 11 wide, scored at 5, 5.5, and 6.
The word window punch at the top is punched twice to make it a little wider.
I was struggling with a design for the top layer. I must have redone it 5 times. OH well, I went with Simply Said, finally.
The background is stamped with the petals from petal prints. The apricot layer is stamped with linen in creamy caramel-- or maybe it's close to cocoa -- i can't remember. The corners are all punched with a corner rounder punch, which is dull, so it was quite the challenge.
These did end up being really cute... if I do say so myself. I'm pleased with how they turned out, and were really very easy to do.
