This is one of two cards made for the current Teapot Tuesday challenge to create comfort for the Clendenning family who recently experienced the tragic loss of a young child. It'll be in the mail tomorrow.
I was searching through a number of paper pads and found this leaf vine pattern in the unlikely spot of the A Little Foxy pad, but it worked well for this card.
The Gardenia is yellow and for all purists out there, I did find yellow types of this flower in an internet search, but of course the most widely seen are either white or cream. I just thought the yellow looked nice with the gray background. For the theme, I think flowers are always comforting.
For the card design, I used the current sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps.
That's it, thanks for looking!

Lovely colors, Stef. I love your interpretation of the sketch with the double ribbon. I hope your card helps comfort the unfortunately circumstances a bit. Thank you for joining Sunday Stamps this week.

What a beautiful flower - you've colored it so lovely! I like the background sheet, too - I used up all those pages almost right away when I got that DSP pack, lol. Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
