For today's Ways to Use It challenge - we are to do silhouette stamping. I couldn't find a true silhouette stamp in my craft room so went with this little bird - that actually had lots of white dots on her back - but I colored them in with a black Sharpie to make it a silhouette!
I had this piece of watercolor cardstock with a bit of embossing on it on my work table - cut off from a larger panel where most of the embossing was!
I thought it looked rather like a bird nest for my little bird! Before stamping the bird and sentiment - I pounced the panel onto my craft mat where I had rubbed Twisted Cintron and Mermaid Lagoon Distress inks and spritzed with water. After I got the look I wanted, I dried the panel with my heat tool and then stamped the bird and sentiment.

Good for you for making that bird a true silhouette. Where there's a will, there's a way. Your card turned out beautiful with awesome colors in the background.

That background is splendid! Two of my favorite colors together in one sky! And the metallic embossing powder is the perfect touch! Nice going coloring in the bird to make a silhouette
