Here is my card for Stef's pretty colors. With butterflies as dessert. I was inspired to use a butterfly stamp that I've never used before. Holy cow do I have a lot of butterfly stamps! I thought this one would look nice in the colors and then I decided it needed a doily kind of die cut around it. So I found this shape online and made it into a ScanNCut pattern. I expect that I will use this pattern a lot. I really like it.

I think your idea of adding the doily behind the butterfly was right on!! Beautiful card (and don't we ALL have a lot of butterfly stamps!!!).

Jenn, what a pretty card! Your butterfly reminds me of stained glass, and I love the doily! You are so skilled with that Scan 'n Cut! I love the sentiment, too!

The stamp with the doily frame makes me think of the stained glass windows I've seen in some of the European cathedrals - They often have beautiful filigree frames too. Love the sentiment - such truth!

Having a lot of butterfly stamps is a good thing in my mind! I love the one you chose to use for the CC, it's gorgeous, as is the doily around it. That sentiment means more and more to me as I get older LOL! Beautiful card!

Jen, what a beautiful card, and I LOVE this butterfly! Having done stained glass years ago, I really love this image and how you've colored it. And I love the beautiful doily-like cut you found and made -- you are so clever! Just love the layout with the silver cord! Such a gorgeous card for this week's Color Challenge! So glad you joined us! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
