A fun site today and new to me. It is a dull day in my area, so I wanted to add some bright and happy colours to my world, plus I just like happiness. I picked this pillow for my inspiration using the colours, not the fruit! I did the Shaving Cream stencil technique for my background, that can be found in the SCS Tutorials section and also on my blog under tutorials. I then stamped the flowers in the different colours and heat embossed using clear embossing powder and watercoloured using Daniel Smith watercolours. The stencil is attached on fun foam, and the flowers are styled and attached with glue or foam dot. The sentiment label is propped up with foam tape. I added Wink of Stella to the flower centres.
Thanks for having a look. aplaceforkia

I love that shaving cream technique....it really gets such great results as you've gotten here. This is a bright spot on a gloomy day. Those flowers are gorgeous!

Your card is so pretty with the happy and bright colors Kia. Today is a gloomy day for me with rain, wind and cold temps, so it made me happy to see your colorful card in the Gallery today.

Kia, this is really pretty. Love the technique and will have to try it sometime. I don't use my stencils much, but if I could get this look, maybe I would!!! Thanks for your inspiration. I love this card.
