Background technique with plastic wrap

 I love this classic background technique with plastic wrap, saran wrap, or simply a baggie, which is what I used for my video tutorial below. This has actually been around for a while, but with all the latest and greatest craft accessories coming out, itÂ’s easy to forget about the tried and true basics!

This card begins with a basic A2 Basic Black card base cut at 11″ x 4.25″. Score an fold in half at 5.5″. The second layer is Tempting Turquoise card stock cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″. Finally the top Basic Gray card stock layer is cut at 5.25″ x 4″.

To create the background simply wad up the wrap as shown in the video and “ink & dab” as desired. Add the finishing touches, and remember to make your envelope pretty!
