This card is for a VSN Challenge....watercolouring with Yupo.
I made 2 BGs for this challenge, one with normal Yupo paper and this one with Transparency Yupo paper.
The colouring was the easiest part.....drop colour, mist/spray from a great height with water, move with brush, add rubbing solution, heat/blow then keep adding more colour and repeating LOL.
Flowers stamped...so far so good, then I saw my fingerprints all over the Yupo...quick wipe with alcohol or baby wipes...phew!
Sentiment stamped...several times and wiped clean and start again. Note to self: change or wipe gloves clean!
I wanted the colour to pop, so cut out a lacy trim with my punch which I intended to put as a frame but I'd cut it wrong. Thinking what now and it's still early here....decided to add a strip of it on the flowers and add ribbon. Phew, that's better.
It was only when glueing the transparency onto the card that I realised it wasn't sitting right and the glue was showing. Somewhere deep in my sub conscious I remembered a video where someone used a frame to hide the glue. Quick dash back into craft room, black frame cut and added.
Unfortunately it's still wonky but will fix that later.
TFL. Happy day
