MIX268 - It's a date. I chose when I remember discovering a love for reading.
My first memory of reading a wonderful book was when I read Black Beauty in Elementary School when I was very young. That book led to the Man-O-War books and then everything I could find about horses. To this day, Dick Francis, former jockey turned writer, is one of my favorite authors.
Cat on book, and cat paper clip, self-explanatory.

I also fall asleep reading! I love this! I miss having a cat (DH will not agree that we need one).
Fortunately, when I finish a book, I just pull the box out from under the bed and grab the next one!
Kandie, I love your work. I think of you when I see a typewriter!

Love the cat and that vintage typewriter image is great. I discovered a lasting love of reading when my mother began taking me to the library when I was 6 - we would go twice a week and I would take out the limit each time - such wonderful memories! I also love the books by Dick Francis.

I confess, I am a library addict. I love reading but try to utilize the library - and still I have too many books at home! Cute card with a fun sentiment though I don't read in bed, it just isn't comfortable. And what a fun sentiment on the bookmark! Love it.

It's wonderful how the books of our childhood shape our future reading choices. I loved Nancy Drew and still love mystery and suspense as a second to history. Love your card and the matching bookmark. You can never have enough of those babies!

Kandie, this is too sweet! Love that adorable cat and the cat clip. I remember reading lots of books about horses when I was 12 or so too.
Wonderfully done!
