Kathy challenged us to use a lion or a lamb for this March CAS Challenge. I had to go lion since we're getting our third Nor'easter of the month tomorrow and could get a foot of snow and 50 mph winds. There's still time for the lamb, right?
OK, so this isn't terribly CAS. It all went awry when I decided to combine with today's TLC challenge of Gilded Faux Silk and couldn't resist using tissue paper with glitter in it. I stamped the tissue paper with Bamboo to make a jungle for the lion (a Chinese lion I suppose?).

A foot of snow - you could do without that! Hopefully you'll get some lamb days at the end of the month. I guess ours was a lion to start too, with Storm Emma. Beautiful background, cute lion! I love the expression in his face.

I love the bg that you created!! I'm so sorry to hear about these winter storms. It certainly is no fun this time of year when we're all ready for spring. May it melt fast.

Great use of this technique! Just enough gilding to show off the cracks but not too much...a really hard thing to do! Love your sweet looking lion and I agree with the sentiment whole-heartedly!

This is fantastic. Your bg is unbelievably stunning and the lion image is colored beautifully. That is one cute lion. Love the greens and brown colors.

I sense a little Jungle Fever here with that fun gilded bamboo bg. The gold gilding looks great against your greens and makes a sweet setting for your friendly lion.
