Followed tutorial video painting 3 colors using cut paper towel roll tube. Went with a camo effect for these paintball pictures since this event was a paintball tournament for Marine Toys for Tots. Made this event one of my son’s surprise gifts for his 13th birthday. However, I had no idea it was actually a competitive event. It was advertised as open for all, but we were the only team without their “own” equipment....not a good sign! Yikes! Our team consisted of my 2 boys and nephew, me, another woman and her boyfriend and everyone else in the entire tournament was military! Four soldiers kindly joined our team to make it fun for us and I’m sure never expected to do well. It turns out my boys were all small and quick and therefore difficult to hit so we won match after match getting to the flags. We won the tournament! A birthday memory we will all never forget!

This is a fabulous scrapbook page of such a fun birthday memory for your son. Perfect paintball splatters and how super that the paintball game turned out the way it did. I'm sure your son was thrilled.

I love it! Both the outcome of the Paintball Tournament AND your page, it's awesome. That technique for this page is perfect. It does represent paintball so well. I like the Camo colors too ...

Wow! I have never seen this technique before. So cool. I'm so glad you shared your fun story about your son's birthday in the details. I like hearing little stories of everyone's family - it makes each layout more special when the tiny details are shared. TFS!
