I had made a background for the color challenge a few weeks ago that called for Silver Whispers of Real Love. I punched the hearts and never finished the project until today's sketch hit me on the head when I saw the hearts. I am home due to a snow day, so I got to play around a little. I die cut the rectangle from red vellum, die cut the argyle/diamonds from silver and used the positive as a guide to glue the negative pieces on to the vellum. Stamped the sentiment and popped the hearts with dimensionals. Pretty quick and easy. This will be going to my DH, he always gets me a dozen strawberries hand dipped in dark chocolate from our local handmade chocolate shop. I wish I could share them with you, a dozen is too many for me to eat. DH might have one, so I need help eating them.

You got snow out there in the western part of the state, huh? Only got a dusting over here on the Southcoast.
LOVE what you did with the sketch! What a fabulous card. So great when a challenge makes a card just come together perfectly!

Love the metallic look on this for the extra texture and so perfect for the masculine touch. Great idea for the #3 panel on that sketch.

Your hearts are Stunning, Julie! Love what you did with this sketch by using the negative pieces of your die-cut! Hubby should like this Valentine since there is no bling attached to it~ ; )
