Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to use Pink Pirouette, Pear Pizzazz, and Blushing Bride. The dessert option is lace.
I had the idea for this card, partially formed, in my head, and the tag part came out just as I had envisioned it. But somehow, the rest of the card lost its "pizzazz" (pun!). Perhaps I should have embossed some texture on the pink layer, or turned the flag--or something. No sure what it needs, but I'm calling it done!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Your card/tag is lovely Barbara!! I like the way you sponged the neutral around your image panel. I also really like your rounded edges. The clean look always appeals to me.

I know exactly the feeling, Barbara. I agree that the background would've looked nice embossed (which I never remember to do) but I think your card is beautiful just the way it is. It's the antique sponging that completes it to me. Glad that your tag came it just the way you planned. That rarely happens for me. LOL
