This was supposed to work for both the TLC and CAS challenge--and would have since the asterisk looking things on the black and white strip could be snowflakes--except that while I was trying to line up the snowflake die cut, I tore it.
So, plan B, the asterisk snowflakes are now flowers and the die cut is a butterfly I happened to have on my desk. I covered the entire card front with gray patterned paper and added the black and white strip with snowflakes, um, flowers across the front. I cut the sentiment from a page of American Crafts paper that had a whole bunch of little squares with sayings and sentiments. I layered it onto a square cut from white cardstock and attached it with foam tape to the card front. I had just made another card (see my recent uploads) that used the butterfly silhouette cut from white cardstock. I had two butterflies so I glued them together to make them sturdier (learned my lesson from the torn snowflake) and attached with a pop dot.
Thanks for looking!
