Julie has chosen a fabulous site to inspire us for IC626 this week!
I found THIS adorable CAS card and I knew right off which stamp I wanted to use!
I love this sentiment: Life is about the small stuff. Sometimes the small things can be huge!!
Today started out like all of our school days. Elisabeth and I interacting in the morning, making coffee, driving to school. I dropped her off and all was well. Then I went to make my left-hand turn just yards after I turned at the stoplight. The next thing I knew my back window was blown out by the school bus that forgot to stop! I did go into a bit of shock. I couldn't figure out how to call the police. I did manage to call my friend and cancel our Birthday Month Lunch and eventually I figured out how to call my husband!
I am thankful tonight for small things! I am thankful for my friend who met me at the ER and stayed with me until my husband made the hour drive from work. I am thankful my daughter wasn't driving! A brand new driver doesn't need to be rear-ended! A friend brought us supper. That small act of kindness was huge. Life is about the small stuff! The little kindnesses that become huge! With this card I am celebrating the small stuff!
There is nothing small about saying farewell to our amazing Audrie. She has offered us fabulous inspiration week after week. She will be dearly missed. Thank you so much, Audrie, for all you have done over the years!
And now I am off to take my meds and rest. I hope to see your beautiful creations tomorrow!

I saw the picture of your car on FB, I am so thankful you were able to walk away from this and no one was in the backseat. And my goodness, look at you, still able to be creative on a not so good day. Audrie will be missed and I have grown to love this challenge as one of my favorites. I am excited to see some familiar faces and friends as the team for this challenge and I look forward to seeing all the grand things that you select to motivate our inspiration. Your sweet card reminds me that it is all the small things I love best about Christmas.
Hope your soreness will soon be gone and praising God you were spared any more serious injuries.

I am so glad you were not hurt too bad. Being hit from behind is frightening, I was like you could not think. My daughter was with me and had to take over.
Your card is so pretty....love your sweet tree!
Prayers for quick recovery.

A darling card, Angela, and I am glad you got to post. I hope you are better today instead of worse. The soreness and pain may have to come but so happy you have no broken bones. Take care and rest today. For sure, a small kindness is a huge thing.
