Some patterned papers are so gorgeous that they don't need a whole lot of embellishment to become a beautiful card. This paper from FabScraps was just too charming to leave on the shelf. :-) The goldfinches, sunflowers, hurricane lamp, teacups, and burlap pattern were just so rustic-ly inviting and friendly. The paper is double sided, so I the solid burlap side for the largest card mat, and layered my 3x4" cheery decorated side of the paper on solid chocolate brown and solid olive green paper to help it stand out from the plain burlap. A jute twine bow is my only embellishment. I have already created several versions of this card with browns, yellows, greens, and tan accent papers. Thanks for looking!
