In my imagination sometimes it would be nice to rest in the peacefulness of a cabin in the woods. Just to get away from all the hassles in your life...where you could paint, knit, stamp or just stare out the window! Ah...the perfect world!! Sorry back to real life!! LOL I have had this image for eons..ever since I started stamping which wasn't just yesterday! I stamped it in Rich Cocoa from Memento and distressed with walnut from Mr Holtz. The greeting is an unknown stamp that I probably picked up at a show somewhere. I stamped it in black and cut it and the backing out by hand. Finally a small piece of jute finishes it off.

Oh my, you and I think so much alike! My hubby and I dream of a cabin in the woods where we can just escape the hustle of the "world" and relax (of course, for me that means stamping and artwork :-)). Love your cabin image and the Peace that it evokes-hugs and thanks for sharing!!

Gorgeous Sue! I have that stamp as well but have never made a card as lovely as this with it. Reminds me that it is years since I used it at all. Your imaginary place of peace is somewhere I would love to be as well. Your card makes me think of an old sepia photo. Love the sentiment and the twine finishes it off perfectly!

Please take me with you if you find the cottage, especially if it's snowing! I love the vintage look you created with the jute, and it's such a peaceful scene.
