I kept the striped background and flower but changed the flower used and the sentiment.
First I created the background using the stripe from Work of Art stamping repeatedly to get my Smoky Slate stripes. I stamped the flower - only the third layer - and leaves with distress ink and then watercolored using a small paintbrush to pull the color out and give the illusion of the petals.
After fussy cutting, I popped them up with dimensionals adding gold thread behind. A few sequins and it was done.
Congratulations Helen, enjoy your week!
Thanks for looking.

Cathrine, this is a beautiful card. I love the color combo you choose for your card. The grey background makes the flower pop and stand out. Love the sweet sentiment.
Thank you for CASEing my card and sharing the inspiration!
