They aren't called challenges for nothing, and my first challenge on this card was trying to find a crayon. I gave up and used a white candle instead. I placed my white cardstock over the inside of my embossing folder and then rubbed the big white candle over it. Instead of using a brayer for the color I did an oxide distress ink smash for the color. Thanks, Judy for giving me one more idea to use my massive collection of embossing folders in other ways. I will be repeating this one in the near future. It was fun, and the candle worked fine as a substitute.

That is a BRILLIANT idea! I had to laugh at your search for a crayon, as it took me a bit too. However, since my granddaughter was here in May, it wasn't too long!
This is awesome. I love the texture your background has for your pretty images!

What a fabulous background you created, a really lovely setting for those silhouettes. I've used a candle for other resist techniques, definitely. I'm glad you found something that worked for today.

Hi neighbor! Amazingly, I FOUND a white crayon the first place I looked. You can imagine my delight!!!!! I'm glad you found an alternate, 'cause your card is really pretty. Love the smash bg and the black silhouette! Hugs.
