This is for Loll's second day of the 12 tags of Christmas. These are so much fun to do!
The background was done with Infusions after masking the moon. I avoided using the powders on the lower half of the tag. I stamped music randomly over the backgrounds. I've had this Tim Holtz lamp post for years and never used it. After die cutting it I cut off the lights on the sides of it then sponged in white to give it a bit of a frosty look. I used a bit of watercolor to bring clouds in over the moon. I die cut the holly and punched the Martha Stewart pines sprigs topping it off with small, red nail heads for berries. It's not quite visible but the background has 2 stamped flourishes on it and embossed in clear to represent wind. I added a bit more color to the edges by sponging.

So pretty, the sponging and the music score are so subtle but very effective behind this wonderful festive lamppost. You did a super job on this tag! Hugs

OMG my friend...you certainly have not lost your creative Tag Touch, Nancy. Every single detail is absolutely Gorgeous. I love all your layered details and so appreciate you sharing all your creative and beautiful steps. Thank you for pointing out your heat embossed flourish. It does look like a swirl of wind. Your NBUS lamp post turned out beautifully. Love your moon and bits of music scores in the background with your smoky (foggy) colors. All amazing and perfect my friend. TFS Hugs..
