I'm the hostess for the monthly Tickle a Teapotter challenge this time round - you'll be able to find the challenge HERE.
I started by making a wrinkle free distress background using DOX inks. When it was fully dry, I stamped my NY (I presume it is, what with the Statue of Liberty!) cityscape in black. Added the sentiment, and then that seemed to call for something to fill the top left corner so I added the balloon and coloured it. I spattered the panel with a clear glitter pen, and also added some Shabby White embossing enamel.
And viewing it after uploading, I see I stamped in some Timeless Textures, using the same two colours of DOX.
My frame is the off-cut from the card I made for Lydia's A FF challenge, to use one of the alcohol ink/marker based tutorials. I tried alcohol marker marbling with Sharpies and called it a fail, but I made a card for her challenge and the frame worked well to finish it. That card (and a link to the tutorial) is HERE.
Come along to the Tea Party for some Apple Fun and more.

I love how you use left overs from previous challenges and the fact that you remember what challenge it was originally for! Another terrific card my friend. You are going to bring lots of Teapotter smiles with this mixed media gem. Everytime I look I see something I missed.

So sparkly and colourful and pretty!!! I love the marbling technique on the border of this card, and image is very nicely done, layered stamps, sparkle and lots of interest. Beautiful!
