 | | I really have no need for a Halloween-themed treat box, but could always use something for Christmas, so I decided to go with more of a Santa hat. I used the printable template from the tutorial, and cut out a piece of red patterned paper. I scored it, and cut the strips for the band from black glitter cardstock. I adhered the strips, and glued on a buckle I'd made from gold mirror cardstock. I folded & adhered the box. I die cut a circle from the same patterned paper, and cut another larger circle from white cardstock. I glued white felt to the larger circle, and cut off the excess with scissors. I glued the smaller circle to the larger one, and adhered my hat in place. Finally, I glued a cotton ball to the top, making sure not to glue it to the opening flap!  |
