I needed a super quick card for my daughter - she has a few friends that celebrate Diwali and she wanted to give them a card.
This is my moderately successful attempt at the 'ink swipe' method. I use this card as my inspiration - Ink Swipe Medallion by stamptek at Splitcoaststampers I like the way the colours are separate in the link, but I couldn't figure out how to achieve this effect. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
I do like colours of my cards...they look bright and festive!

Lovely cards, Claudia. I'll look at the link later (not very good at that! I'm afraid I prefer it when people provide info in the upload), but I think she must have used a stamp positioner and stamped several different times with a different colour each time, to get such clear colour differential.

this has beautiful color and wonderful depth because of those colors! I believe Sabrina is right, I've seen it technique like this, using a Misti for the stamping to apply different layers of color letting them dry in between!
