Baking makes me happy

I love to collect cookbooks too! So when the 6x6 Recipe Card Page Exchange opened up I was excited to participate

This fun page could easily be turned into a card

I used SU DSP for the page and Gingerbread Girl dress. A Martha Stewart punch was used for the black pocket and white boarder strip. The Stamps of Life Gingerbread2 die set was used for the Gingerbread Girl cookie. A snow pen was used on the cookie and recipe card edge for "Icing". Dots & gems were added as a final touch

When I took this picture I had not filled out the recipe card yet...Here's the recipe if you'd like it ;-)

Cake Mix Gingerbread Cookies

1 - 15.25oz Spice Cake Mix Box
1/2 c. Butter
1 Egg

Cream butter & egg. Combine cake mix with wet mix thoroughly. Roll dough between two sheets of wax paper and cut with cutters. Bake for 6-8 mins. @ 350
