Today's Way to Use It Challenge, WT655 DYI Decorations (9/28/17), was to make your own embellishments. "Don't buy it, DIY it!"
This is the 2nd card I made for this challenge. The first one was so much fun I decided to use some of the leftover DIY embellies to make another card with a totally different feel.
The DIY elements in this card are the big black enamel dots (melted plastic pony beads), the faux-chipboard flowers (3 punched layers glued together), the black stacked layers under the white sentiment panel and the DIY shimmer spray (made by mixing Perfect Pearls with distilled water in a sprayer that has a quartz stone as a shaker/mixer.)
Nothing fancy about the construction of this card, just lots of layering and gluing together, which seemed to take forever!
It was fun to repurpose the pile of punched flowers leftover from the first card I did for this challenge, and to finally find a way to use the rather odd colored SU Lemon Lime Twist cardstock that I just HAD to buy. What was I thinking?! Ha... perhaps having used the color on this card, it will be liberated and will be easier to use on future cards.
Thanks so kindly for taking the time to look at my Retro DIY Pop Art Flower card. (In case you are wondering about the "Retro" part in the title, it's because of the weird green color - it's so very 70's!)

Avocado green, gotta love it! The color and the big daisies are definitely a throwback to the 70s. Very cute. Thanks for adding another card to my challenge.

Another amazing card. The green, white & black looks great. Your retro look is fun & fab. The sentiment ties in nicely with the "picked for you" and flowers. The stitched die cuts look great. Well done. What's next? TFS
