 | | Challenges:
Alphabet - Letter F - food image, Fall colors, Framelit
Free 4 A - food related. Since I'm working on Thanksgiving cards, I thought of this image for food related. I think I only use this stamp once a year because it is so detailed and time consuming to color.
Color Challenge - Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler - dessert - leaves (found in image). I heat embossed the cornucopia image in black. Then I colored it in using only the challenge colors with neutral Crumb Cake for the basket and stalks. I finished with a light washed background on the lower half.
Mix-Ability - use misters. After the image was colored and die-cut, I sprayed on Perfect Pearls in Heirloom Gold. I never would have done this without the challenge and it made a lovely difference. There is a beautiful pearlescent glimmer and some speckles, which is a fitting look for the image. Mediums used: VersaMark with background stamp, embossed paper, heat embossed image, dye ink and Perfect Pearl spray.
Thanks to all the hostesses. Thanks for looking! |
