CC648- Delight in wild fresh fig, sequins
Daffodil delight, fresh fig, wild wasabi, very vanilla
I stamped the flower with So Saffron (sub for daffodil delight) on Vanilla CS.
Using an aqua pen, I colored the flower center in fresh fig, and gradually faded the color on the petals and also kept some of the vanilla CS peaking in on the petals.
I stamped the French script with Wild Wasabi and diecut the frame, then the sentiment.
The background is dry embossed with Anna Griffin Aviary EF. Then randomly painted some embossed leaves with wild Wasabi. Finished with green sequins.
Sending this to the first owners of our house, who sent a very nice note to say they raised their 2 children here and commented on the flowers & landscaping as they were in our neighborhood to visit friends.
Thanks for looking.

I really like your card!! The embossed folder is so pretty!! I like the flower that you colored and placed on top. This has a bit of a vintage feel with that image in the center. What a nice card to give to former owners of your house. :>)

That blossom is lovely ~ it looks like the blooms on my mom's Rose of Sharon tree that used to be in our yard when I was growing up. I love the way you have colored some of the leaves on your embossed background, it's a pretty effect.
