What an awesome inspiration challenge this is. Thank you so much for taking me out of my comfort zone and into the tropics!
I was inspired by these two pins: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/142356038205545494/ and https://www.pinterest.com/pin/142356038205685053/ The way the tropical colors in those pictures contrasted with the black background reminded me of the liquid chalk markers I bought recently and haven't played with enough. I used the markers to color dry embossed card stock; regular colors for the leaves and flowers and silver for the accent dots and the border.
I know this embossing folder is technically a tropical motif, but it's the closest one I had. I really like the way the colors pop against the black.
