The new Featured Stamper is rutabagapie (AJ). This girl uses some color and her cards always amaze me. I have tried several times to get her bold but blended look - I can get one or the other. Today, I decided to camo my not so blended background with a new stencil I bought yesterday ($1.79 in the clearance rack at the Lobby). I think it worked well. Here is the card I cased:
I changed her colors a bit, stenciled my bg, added another layer, went with a Christmas theme, etc.
Congrats AJ - hope you enjoy watching your cards inspire others. You are soooo talented, girl! If you are ever around Central Alabama please come help me learn to blend!!!!
So refreshing to do a snow card today - love me some Snowtex!!!

Wow! Your bg looks awesome, Nancy! Love that your bg philosophy mirrors mine..if you don't like it now, just keep going, lol. I was shopping at the Lobby on Friday..a paper pad slid off the shelf & hit my big toe (same foot as the broken toe!). Left the house w/ one bandaged toe, came home w/ two. If this keeps up, I'll be a lame horse soon.

Ha...love your title. Great job on your stencilling. I was just reading Julie's comment about going to the Lobby yesterday...what a laugh. Probably wasn't too funny for her, though. Super card, my Bama friend.

What a fantastic find in the clearance section of your gorgeous stencil pattern! Love the camo colors for a Christmas card! Very earthy in colors and stylish in design.
