hi there,
Today we are being inspired by the Washi Art Blog. Beautiful papers...this was the one that inspired my card: https://www.washiarts.com/paste-pape...ese-kozo-washi
I wanted to try a 'drip' technique to look like rain and this paper reminded me of that.
I placed the stamp inside my Misti, stamped with black Memento ink then moved my paper slightly and stamped with Salty Ocean Distress then moved my paper yet again and stamped with London Fog Memento. By doing that, it gave the image a blurred appearance like it was raining. I dripped water down my card front then touch the water with DI that I had rubbed onto my non-stick craft mat and picked up with a paintbrush.
To finish off my card, I went back in with a very wet paint brush to blur the lines of the building.
thanks for looking, http://snippets-karen.blogspot.ca/20...rainy-day

Ooh Karen, this is so super cool, looks like a winter day in the city. Love how there is a bit of shadow stamping with bg colors (or looks a bit like that anyway). So beautiful!

This definitely has the appearance of a rainy day, Karen. The stamping technique worked out Beautifully, but I would have been holding my breath while attempting the process!
