Creative Cat tip: The StampinÂ’Up! Watercolor Words Birthday Banner card uses one of my favorite color tones. Specifically, the Bermuda Bay cardstock and Bakers twine. I found that the Watercolor Words stamp set was one of the easiest ones to work with, each sentiment is essentially itÂ’s own built in focal point.
Using the Oval die cut framelits and popping it up with dimensionals is an easy way to create a “frame” effect. Creating banners has become even easier with the Triple Banner Punch. And here’s a trick, if you hold the punch upside down you can see where the cut will be on the paper. Which wastes less paper and can give you a cut closer to your sentiment when you are using one.
