My friend shared this background technique with me one day when we were crafting together so I put together a fun and easy card to shareÂ… First, pick a very light cardstock for the backgroundÂ…for mine I chose StampinÂ’Up! Very Vanilla because I wanted a vintage look. I used a couple large sticky notes to mask areas for sponging my windowpaneÂ…I found that moving 1″ to 1 1/2″ as you go is a good spacing. Do this on a diagonal in both directions to create your background. The best part is you donÂ’t have to fret over perfection, it will have beautiful things stamped in front to draw your eye. VoilaÂ…easy!!!
Remember to make your envelope pretty! This simple step makes such a big impact on giving your beautiful card a finished look!
