I remember when I was a teenager (1960's) I was the only one of my friends to have a phone in my room. It was a very futuristic one that had the rotary dial on the bottom. Gotta keep up with the times!
Believe it or not this is a single layer card.
I picked this pretty digi from Buddly Crafts and used it for the shape of the card and cut it with the Silhouette Cameo. I used the fill tool for the gingham and the receiver. I used a white chalk pencil to give some depth to the black. All that was left to do was color the flower with my Copics and add a little Stickles on the heart.
I've saved this design and I can use my fill tool to make it any color or design.. poke a dot, paisley or even striped.

Oh girl give me a ring at Emerson 8-4975. I'm guessing you remember the name that was attached to numbers. A phone in your room??? You were one classy teen, just like your card. It is very classy retro. FYI! We still have two of those phones here in flat black.lol. I love you card.

Oh, Gail! I am so behind the times! I didn't see this card (and I'm supposed to be subscribed to your gallery and receive emails...hmmm). But I LOVE this card and absolutely do remember the old phones. My sister and I had a phone in our bedroom too. We had a princess phone...hehe! Remember those? Oh, what an amazing job you did with this digi and cut file. And your coloring is exquisite, as always! I love it and have just now hooked up my Silhouette now that I have my new tables. I am so eager to play again with it and figure out how you've done some of these things. YOU are so inspiring, my friend! I love everything you do!! Big hugs and love! xoxo
