This is one of the samples I created for Toni's WTUI challenge which you can find HERE if you want to find out what it's all about.
I used the Microscope Slide Ornament tutorial from Resources - it was fun.
My image is part of a bookmark. I masked the birds off with masking fluid, coloured the tree branches with pencil and then used dilute acrylic paints to colour the sky. Removed the masking fluid when the paint was dry, and added white and pink acrylic to the flower blossoms. I trimmed a piece the same size as the slides and then followed the tutorial.

So cute! I love the vivid blue. I made Christmas tree ornaments with the microscope slides for each of my children and grandchildren and then did some for the girls that work in our Lab. Great idea!

This is so pretty, Sabrina! I've never tried any of the microscope slides, but you've made me think I need to get some and use alcohol inks. You did an amazing job with the acrylic paints!
