 | | I used the Colored Dry Embossing Technique by Jeanne Jachna found here: Colored Dry Embossing Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I picked this technique because I thought it would be a lot like water coloring. I used the squish the ink pad lid technique and lifted the ink with the blender pen and carefully colored the embossing image. One thing to note I did spritz the Glimmer Paper before I embossed so I would get a nice deep impression. I used a lot of different colors for the coloring but I think the image is nice little bouquet.
StampinÂ’ Up doesnÂ’t have a lot of embossing folders what would work nice with this technique but this little folder works well. I hope IÂ’ve inspired you to look through your embossing folders (StampinÂ’ Up or otherwise) and try this technique.
Make sure to check out all the projects in this monthÂ’s creative crew gallery.
