I was drawn to her dimensional diecut butterfly and decided to use a 4 layered butterfly stamp.
I first stamped on the white CS then stamped again on another piece of CS, then fussy cut it. I glued the body to the base then bent up the wings for dimension.
I also went over the butterfly with Wink is Stella to give it a little shimmer.
I stamped the sentiment then heat embossed in clear then added sequins.
The butterfly looked a little lost, so I added glitter mat in cantaloupe color then popped up on mint colored card base.
Congratulations Hideko! I love the simplicity of your designs and have a lot to learn in less-is-more.

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement, Jeannie! I love CAS cards, and that butterfly card is actually one of my favorites. :-)
Your butterfly is beautiful! (I know that photos don't catch Wink of Stella's shine or glitter well, so the actual card must be super beautiful.) I love that slight blending of distress ink colors (for the butterfly) creates soft and organic feeling. I think your instinct was right - the thin glitter cantaloupe mat makes the front panel pop out. Great choice!
