I had this flower pressing after a session several months ago. It is interesting that it is perfect plum in color because the Crepe Myrtle it was pressed from was actually bright pink. Loved Linda's pressed leaves so chose this one to case. Pressed Ornamental Plum by bubblestx4 at Splitcoaststampers

Pat, I love pressed flowers technique, but I have to say yours came out prettier than my ever did. And how perfect this was for a CASE of Linda's card. Just lovely!

Yes - it is an interesting Phenomenom - Every pink flower (no matter how bright & intense the color) turned to shades of purple when I pressed or hammererd . .my only exception was a stargazer lily which kept a pale pink BUT the purple spots came out as GRAY. GO figure! I love that you showcased this technique Your card turned out great and for me is VERY reiniscent of my first hammered flower farther back in the gallery a bright pink oleander that turn almost the same shades of plum & brown as your crepe.

This is gorgeous -- I love the purples and browns together, I never would have thought to use those two colors, but I am going to re-think that one!! This is gorgeous!!!
