Sabrina gave us a challenge to make a card celebrating Australia Day. Not having any related stamps, googled Australian flowers. Two hours later....so many unique flowers to observe. This is the orchid that caught my eye. https://www.google.com/search?q=aust...NPCQdHRMT-M%3A
Using a new digi from power poppy colored with ink pad, colored pencil, charcoal pencil for highlights. Took a fern stencil and did the bg. Cut out the image, and used the negative piece for the card front. The image is put up on foam tape. Big time error....I couldn't fix it...put the image upside down. Now it really is a down under card Highlighted the image with my white charcoal pencil. TFL

Oh Linda, I'm half laughing at your literal down under card, but also feeling the pain as I have done that myself. I'm sure you enjoyed googling the flora! One of the glasshouses in our Botanic Gardens is Temperate Zone and focusses on Australian and South African plants. Your orchid is beautiful, as is that delicate stencilled background.

Gorgeous orchid Linda.... and it truly was an upside down side card.... Oh I can relate... I've done that twice now and had to cut it apart and adhere it to a different base.

Shut-my-mouth gorgeous, Linda! The card base is gorgeous, too. This is truly a WOW card!
