This card is for the Technique Lovers Challenge - To use Washi Tape and a punch to make a card, and also for Holly's Falliday Fest challenge to use Holly or Holly berries.
Like Susie aka susie australia I don't use washi tape often or at all but I do have a draw full of the stuff. I've seen some wonderful cards using washi tape as borders and think I would like to do that then promptly forget all about it.
It's a Christmas card because I still have about six to go to complete my stash and it has fallen (well maybe dragged kicking and screaming) into Holly's FF challenge.
It's very straight forward with the only thing needing explaining is the Flower Soft. I used PVA glue (water soluble wood glue) on the cuff of the stocking then put a layer of Flower soft, let it dry then sprayed it with spray adhesive and added more Flower Soft.
I punched little holes to attach the holly brads on the embossed strip and attached that to the green backing card which I mounted onto some craft foam before attaching this to the base card.....and that's all folks.
Cheers
Marg

Oh wow Marg this looks terrific. I love the flower soft cuffs. Don't post this overseas though....Australian Customs quarantined a little flower soft snowman that I did on a card, they scraped all the flower soft off and returned it to me! He looked like a bald turkey. I digress, Marg all of your Christmas cards are fabulous!!

Fab Christmas card, your washi stockings look super with the added Flower Soft. Ditto what Susie says about only posting internally. I knew all about customs restrictions but knowing there was nothing organic, I once sent a card with Flower Soft to my BIL in Sydney. He received a black and white photocopy of it and was told if he wanted to pay something like AUD25 to get it tested, he might or might not get the card depending on the test results. I told him not to bother and sent him a colour picture and have been even more extra careful ever since. But they still flagged a little seed bead koala I sent Susie as possible biohazard. Luckily he escaped from quarantine ;-).

Those stockings look wonderful! The fuzzy tops and holly 'hangers' are very creatively done. I have washi tape languishing in a drawer somewhere too and this inspires me to go find it. :-)
