It feels like cheating to post this, but I was working on this during the week and was just about to go to the post office to see how many thousands of dollars it will be to mail a rock. When I checked the galleries, I just had to post it....it is definitely dimensional for the F4A challenge. The reason I feel like I am bending the rules is that this is just a remake of a rock I made before. A friend had admired it and now that it is her birthday, I made her another one as a gift. Very straight forward...find an image and a rock that are similar sized. Color the image with your favorite medium - I used copics. Tear the edges and glue to the rock, then add a little color (I used in Inca gold) to blend the paper and the rock. TFL, Francie

Oh, Francie, this is beautiful indeed, and I love that you've adhered this beautifully colored image with the rock with the lovely bow and beautiful floral array! What a dear gift! And there are no rules to bend here, sweet friend! Hugs!

You rocked this challenge! I'm SO glad you included the 'how to' in your description cause at first I thought you had free hand painted that rock . . . .

Wow, this is gorgeous!! I thought of Charlie Brown trick or treating and at every house he would say "I got a rock". Well, if it was a rock like this he would be doing the Snoopy dance
Love your project and will have to try making one of these, it's really awesome.

Wow, how creative is this? And I don't think doing a remake of a rock is cheating - and I have read the bi-laws very, very carefully! Ha ha! What a great idea, but I am curious as to how much it will cost to send it!
