Over at STAMPlorations CASEplorations this month (http://stamplorations.blogspot.com/2...ber.html#more), the inspiration card is a cascading watercolored panel. I decided to try a new-to-me-technique of coloring on the stamp with my Zigs. Spritzed it with some water, and then stamped the leaves on some watercolor paper. I hated to cover up the watercolor leaves, so I tried to keep the sentiment small.
The Happy Little Stampers CAS challenge this month is all about watercolor spritzing (http://www.happylittlestampers.com/2...llenge_3.html), so I'm entering there. I had used this technique with ink pads and Distress Markers, but I'd never tried it with my Zigs. So I'm also entering over at AAA Cards (http://aaacards.blogspot.com/).
And even though this isn't "traditional" stamping, I'm also linking up to the SSS Monday and Wednesday Challenge - Stamp it for STAMPtember!

Such a lovely card. This is a technique I keep forgetting about but you've done a wonderful job on your card. Thanks for playing along with us at AAA Cards!
