Poster: CraftyMerla

Here is my card for the alphabet challenge, letter X. I also completed the double challenge which was to make it a masculine card and use an embossing folder. I found some thread from my cross-stitching days and decided to accent the X in eXplore. For more details visit my blog at https://www.merlascraftycorner.com/2021/11/explore.html Thanks for Looking!

I love the way that diamond shapes embossing makes 'x's. It's a good strong masculine card.

Love the way you accented the X. Perfect choice of embossing folder, too.

Fabulous card. Green and blue are my favorite colors and you have both here. I was looking at the word Explore too closely - or maybe I just need more sleep. I was seeing a Star Wars character in the X and your red cross-stitched accents then became light sabers! Anyway, fun masculine card.

That argyle e.f. (I think it is called that) is really effective for this very creative card!

I am going to say this too- X-cellent masculine card for the Double X challenge. I love how you inked the raised areas of this wonderful embossing on your panel and adding that touch of thread to the X in the word explore is genius! I never think to do something like this so I just love it when I see it. I also love how you used a couple of layers for the sentiment and added the white stitching! I love Catherine's Star Wars comments on this card because I am a huge Star Wars fan! I see the black panel being a silhouette of the world and then exploring the world! Fun! ~Karen.
