When I saw the challenge from Monday I just had to play. I made impressions of just about every plant I have blooming in my garden (which is not too much right now with this horrible heat). This is from the leaves of a plant somewhat like a Coleous but I honestly cannot tell you the actual name of the plant. The impression was so nice I thought I would just let it stand on its own.

I think we killed or preserved many plants this week with Karen's challenge. This one is awesome, I love the colour and yes it's perfect as the centre of attention.

Wow Pat, this is so striking! I love the shade of these leaves and how all the veins show up so beautifully. Like you, I am sensitive to animals and plants so I am not sure if this is plant cruelty or not, but you sure did get a gorgeous card out of it. I love it! ~Karen.

Wow, beautiful! The veining in the leaves looks wonderful. I think that must of us took the line that the backgrounds were so strong in their own right that we didn't need to add much ;-).

Thanks so much for playing along!
