a summer get well

Poster: mytime2

I made these for two friends that experienced mishaps last week. Glad to say that both are recovering marvelously. I am thinking of doing a similar card for an upcoming birthday, changing the colors, etc., of course. I had not used my polka dots & petals ss for some time, but thought that the circle of dots would add interest to the texted circle. I sort of wish that I had used black dots though, to tie in with the black dots on the dsp, but didn't think of that until after the card was finished. My inspiration came from a card done by brazilmom back in June of 2015. TFL and enjoy the rest of my gallery .

What a sweet pair of cards to send to your friends! I love the soft colors and the inclusion of the scalloped edge on the circle mat and the layer on the left. The pattern on the paper is just lovely, too.

Sweetness! Love that you let the paper do the work.
