So, as it happens I recently won a shopping prize from Paper Sweeties in the summer coffee lovers blog hop and I had picked out this Christmas set from them as part of it and it happened to land in my mailbox on the day Sandee posted this challenge... and I had also seen the Dirty Christmas challenge theme this month and in my mind I thought oh, that is a red letter gift ha. ( my son has been deployed this year so, this is an in anticipation card) The stars were cut by hand and the centers of them I put in tiny star brads. Thanks for this challenge Sandee, & tfl.

Thank you to your son and your family for his service!! Love your card in anticipation of his homecoming. Your red & blue, hand-cut stars are awesome and I like how you arranged them across like banners. The star embossed background is a great choice. Well done. TFS

Stacy, I love those stars! This is indeed a labour of love, cutting all those stars by hand. Hang tough.......it's hard to be the mother of someone on duty overseas.
