Hello, I have had these Cloisonne`stamps for quite awhile and have never used them (except in the class Michael Strong did at our event). I don't have magazines or old calendars (just something else to clutter, right? but I happened to find a AAA Travel book full of ads full color ads. So I used it with my stamp to do the TLC Cloisonne` technique.
The CAS is to use stripes and dots...I have that in plenty with my paper. Hey, I even kept it simple!!
I have to say that I think the stamp was probably meant for solid card stock but oh well. The page was a sunset with the 'contents" printed on it with white. a bit busy I guess.
Thanks for looking! Now I have to go to work...I'll be back tonight to comment.

Really a striking card and your color choices of lavender and orange really POP, Robin! This tulip image is indeed perfect for the faux cloisonne technique. (You do ANY style with panache and creativity)

Busy? Not to me, I really like the effect of the text. I can see, with all the swirls and detail of the stamp, that it would be beautiful on solid colour too. Yes, we took a trip to the Botanic Gardens, and got home just before a lunchtime thunder shower.

Wow Robin - this is fabulous. Love your colours and the creative way you included the spots and stripes in your design. Thanks for playing along today with the CAS challenge.
