For this piece of Tyvek I coated it with gesso , then added Twinkling H2Os and then stamped the flourishes in gold, knowing that heating the Tyvek would be enough to melt the EP. I have a few step-out photos on my blog.
I layered it on black card, added my flowers (limited choice of magazines in this household, I robbed one of DH's old motorcycle magazines which gave me a limited colour palette!!) and a die-cut sentiment, and added it to a white base with a black pen border. Bling at each corner, and a little bow (IO) die-cut from card with double-sided adhesive and burnished with silver glitter, and another rhinestone to finish it off.

This is just gorgeous, Sabrina!! WOW! I have not tried this before, so I hope I make time to play this week!
(I was thinking I was 589, and had everything all done when I saw this. Helps if I read the schedule.... haha... but now I am ahead for the first time in my life!)

Not only are your faux cloisonne mums beautiful(a very traditional flower in Eastern Art), but that mixed media bg is spectacular, Sabrina. I see Tyvek everywhere where new homes are going up.....you are so insightful AND CLEVER!!

You are an encyclopedia of fantastic techniques, Sabrina...although the reference to the encyclopedia dates me. This looks like a museum piece from some ancient era when they used lapis and real gold to create art. This really should be framed. Right into my favs.
