To-day's challenge was 'top-drawer'! One of my most favourite things to do is stitching on cards. I die-cut two leaves from an old Cheery Lynn set and picked holes along the veins for stitching. Then used some gold thread from SU that is even older than the dies and also included it in the jute bow at the top. The greeting was die-cut with a Marianne Designs die..also very old.. from the inside of a gold foil Christmas card envelope I got last year. The card base is a Craft Smith textured card that was in the 'give away' bin at Mikes last fall. (50 cards for $3.50!!!!)

Oh my goodness where do I begin! Love the stitched leaves that is so beautifully done. Then to read your thrifty stunning card details, I am in awe of your craft saving ideas. I usually toss the envelopes I get at Christmas...well not any more your idea is brilliant and then the dotted textured CS in the thrift bin is so perfect for this stunning card. Thank you for the ideas on some craft saving ways. Thank you for creating such a stunning card for the In Stitches challenge. Hugs!
