This is my card for this week's color challenge, where Barbara has chosen the lovely and bright colors of Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron (and yes I got them right this week LOL!). Dessert is water coloring, so I found a stamp that included two different flowers to water color with both Melon Mambo and So Saffron. I do have to say I cheated a wee bit by adding green on the leaves, but I just couldn't bear having turquoise leaves. ;-) Instead I surrounded the stamped image in a light wash to turquoise.
For this card I used the current sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts. More details on my blog.

Sweet card! You could have told us you mixed turquoise and saffron to get the yellow, and we'd have believed you! I have this stamp, and I like using it for watercoloring, too. Very pretty!

so pretty Stef-love the clean and layered look-the floral images as well as your watercoloring are awesome -I couldn't do turquoise leaves either-then Barbara suggested mixing saffron & turquoise and make green-worked liked a charm-
