This is my card for the Dueling Darlings May challenge. Tami sent some really cute papers and image. This is what I came up with.
We also had another part of the challenge. We needed to share what flower we plant yearly. Most of my flowers are bulbs that come up every year. But, I do plant the seeds of a Hyacinth Bean Vine every year.....http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/orna...-bean-care.htm These seeds were given to me by a sweet little lady named Bea. She gave me a handful of seeds and told me to plant them in the spring. We lost her about 6 years ago....but, I still have a little bit of her when I plant my seeds each spring.
Thanks for taking a look. Hopefully, you will have beautiful flowers for May and the whole summer!

Wow wow wow Suzy. Great card. Love the layout and use of the kit. You did an outstanding job. I love your coloring and the way you used the flowers button and bakers twine. The story of your flower is awesome. I love that you linked the information on the hyacinth as well. Great job. So glad we are duelers together.

I like that you used so many of the papers from the kit! The layered flower looks really good. A lot of great ideas here that go well with that die cut!

Suzy - this is such a fun card! Love the spellbinders dies you chose. I always navigate towards my circles and squares, but you certainly make me want to get my other dies out and play! And I love the coloring. I can never make my pencil-colored images look so dimensional like that. The flowers look real! Love!
